Privacy Policy

PurrBawlz is a free, ad-supported bubble shooter for iPhone and iPad, made by ChunkyBones Studios LLC (“ChunkyBones”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the game and the partners we work with collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
PurrBawlz has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or anything you type.
Your progress, settings, paw coins and power-ups are saved on your device. They are not sent to us.
The partners below may collect, on their own servers: device identifiers (including Apple’s advertising identifier, but only if you allow tracking), an approximate location worked out from your IP address, how you interact with ads and with the game, and crash and performance data.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
PurrBawlz shows ads through Google AdMob. That includes rewarded ads you choose to watch for extra moves or paw coins, and occasional ads between levels.
AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier, IP address and ad interactions to show, measure and personalize ads, and to prevent fraud.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google’s consent form appears before any ads load, and you can choose how your data is used.
After you’ve played a few levels, iOS asks whether PurrBawlz may track you. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, AdMob does not receive your advertising identifier and the ads you see are not personalized. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Game Center leaderboards
The leaderboards use Apple Game Center. If you’re signed in, Apple shares your Game Center nickname, player ID and picture with the game so it can show rankings, and the game sends your scores to Game Center. The cat avatar you pick is saved along with your score.
Game Center is run by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. You can sign out or change your Game Center settings in iOS Settings.
In-app purchases
Purchases such as paw coin packs, No Ads, the Starter Pack and the Disco Jar are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. We receive only a confirmation of what was bought, so the game can unlock it.
How the information is used
To run the game, show the ads that keep it free, fix crashes, and understand things like which levels are too hard. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
Turn tracking off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Deleting the app removes the progress and settings saved on your device.
Since we don’t keep accounts or player data on our own servers, there is usually nothing for us to delete. You can still email us with any request and we’ll help. For data held by Google, use the tools in Google’s privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
PurrBawlz is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security and retention
Information saved on your device stays there until you delete the app. Our partners keep the data they collect according to their own policies. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we only work with established providers.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
